Description

Designed by Sir Joseph Bazalgette, this current bridge was built on the previous bridges foundations and was opened in 1887. This suspension bridge connects Hammersmith and Barnes. What impresses me most about this bridge is its surroundings. In contrast to other bridges in London there's more greenary than skyscraper giving a 'countryside' feel. The bridge itself is also due some maintenace, rickety comes to mind on parts of it. Also, seconds from this bridge is Riverside studios, they film amongst other shows 'Celebrity Juice'...Bang tidy :D Many thanks for viewing!!
