Description


Two Red Bellied Woodpeckers my sister sent my way. I have raised and released quite a few orphaned birds, but these were unique. Their behavior is very much unlike that of other birds, and I had to figure out how to prepare them for release. As you will see in the next post, I was successful

Love these birds! We have one that comes in the fall and winter for the different suets we put out. Love woodpeckers!
