Following my recent post 'What the camera doesn't see', I was asked if I would show the full 180 pano.....hmmmm...OK!
This is LLyn CWMYSTRADLLYN, it is a natural lake enlarged to form a reservoir. The enclosing dam was built in 1959, and further heightened and altered in 1976 and again in 1981. It holds back a lake with an area of almost 40 hectares with a volume, at its maximum, of 3 million cubic metres. It supplies water to the Llyn and Eifionydd regions.
