Description

A Girl And Her Mutt(ation)--Katniss ----------------------------------- by XOTT created: 5-JUL-2014 created with: Poser Pro 2014 (and rendered in), then postwork. ======================= about: ------ I wanted to do another "Katniss' image so I loaded up a progress save from my last image that I made of her, ("Real Or Not Real? - Capitol District Pinup") and continued on from that point so didn't have to make a Katniss figure up from components again. (not that it's hard, it's just that I'm lazy.) Originally this image project this was going to have her as a nude but after awhile I thought the image I was working on was pretty pedestrian so I spun it into this. (hence the low camera angle which originally was to show off her cute nude bum from behind.) ;-) In postwork (which I find enjoyable just as long as it's not fixing problems...such as her ring finger accidently embedded in the bow....grrrr!), I went to town and ended up making her the 'Joan of Arc'-like heroine which of course she is in the books. In this pic she's not actually on a burning pyre of course, it's just me riffing on the 'girl on fire' motif. - It's more to do the 'The Capitol' burning..... The original sized render is 2250x4000 pixels and that's what I used for the postwork too. There's about 60+ layers of stuff in the postwork file, mostly just building up the fire look etc. but then again I make messy postwork files just to hopefully make it easy on myself to change things later in the future if I need to. :-) The final posted 1125x2000 JPG file here is about 46% quality in order to keep it just under Rendo's 500k filesize limit. The pic looks better to view at this image size rather than making it smaller. Finally, I always liked the phrase, "May the Odds Be Ever In Your Favor" from the books/movies because it's like a prayer to mythical gods in the despicable Panem universe. (ie. May the Gods Be Ever In Your Favor).
