Hello !
My name is Helle. I live in Denmark on the Island, Zealand. I have a husband and two sons and three grandchildren, so I am a happy person.
I like many kinds of art and I try to limit myself, but I dont succeed very well. I love my PSP9 and I think I use it every day. I like to draw, paint and experiment on canvas or paper and I wish I had time do it every day. My biggest wish is, that there would be 48 hours instead of the poor 24 a day. I just dont think it will ever happen ;)
A fantastic new world opened for me, when I was Introduced to Renderosity for the first time. I am very grateful to be a part if this site.

Sherri S. Tepper wrote a science fiction novel called Grass and it begins with a long, poetic description of grass...different types of grass on a planet, also known as "Grass." It's a brilliant novel, with interesting, alien monsters and some very strange "horses" and "foxes" and a few other interesting, fun tidbits. It's a great novel if you enjoy science fiction monsters and really nicely-developed characters. Anyway: this is not about a book, but the image made me think of that novel. It's a great one, and it's one of my favorites. The details in this image are similar to the details of that novel: there's darkness in the background, but there's also color and light, and really wonderful shapes, textures, and all sorts of visual excitement. This is really fantastic, and I love the way the seeds and the seed-husks are all so clearly defined. This is really great!

Helle, you did a splendid job on this very lovely capture.

This worked really well. The dark background makes the grass stand out, and the contrast on the seeds is great!

Possibly it would even better on the diagonal, what do you think?

Grasses always fascinate me and make good photographic subjects. I think I would prefer upright on this one.

Andrea and Jeff. Thank you so much for your comments :-))) I tried to make it vertical but the grass behind it seemed wrong to me. But who knows how othere see it. :-) The original was horizontal too. I dont seem to be able to put a real link in this place, but here is a link adress for the vertical one i uploaded in Flickr.. https://www.flickr.com/photos/helanker/14581936601/in/photostream/
