What a very special plant and photo, Jeff. Of course, I too have never heard of this kind of Dandelion, and I now have read about it, that it grows only high in mountains, there where less people live, except older peoples who use this plant. What I've learned too is, that the word dandelion comes from the French "dent de lion" meaning "lion's tooth" because of its long, coarse-toothed, leaves. It's great that you have posted it, Jeff.
