All my opium poppies were pinks and mauves last year, so goodness knows where this came from!

Wow! This is gorgeous and a little bit scary. Such rich colors with its maw wide open. It looks big enough to eat you (feed me!).

I've had that happen, and always thought they were just reverting to the original stock. Wherever it came from, it's certainly beautiful!

The Poppy is such a delicate and beautiful flower, the classic red one is nice to see with it's deep red. They seem to be able to cut through all other colours even as a lone flower amongst many different flowers.
