Description

When Lady Amelia Wiltshire, who upon consorting with certain artists and thespians during her visit to Paris had affected the nom de plume, "Madame Sapphire", sent a telegraph message to the University requesting your audience at her family's astronomical observatory you had no inkling that she meant for you to assume the auspicious title of Director of Advanced Astronomy. And a fine observatory it is! The 1.75 meter telescope had advanced optics, years ahead of anything you'd had experience to work with. Combined with the latest Calculation Engines, this was no opportunity to be passed up. Apparently, scribbling scientific romance stories paid very well! Hopefully, there's some future in it and your benefactor will remain generous for years to come. = = = = Another fun render in the vein of my previous post. My first attempt at a steampunk image. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did working on it! Thanks to everyone for your comments and well-wishes prior to my surgery. It was a huge success. All of the cancer was removed and there will be no need for radiation therapy. Whoohoo!
