Vue8Frontier/DazStudio/Wings3D/Photoshop
This was my winning entry in the Summer Science Fiction Contest for a Facebook Sci-Fi Group I am a member of...just found out today it was the winner,and now I can post it here. Figure and scifi crates from Daz3D(figure is the LoRes Maintenance Worker). Wrecked ship created in Wings3D,with modified Vue Metal materials applied. Terrain material is a modified preset. Planets are spheres with modified rock materials applied,alien plants from C3D.Fire and smoke are volumetric materials applied to spheres. Sky,light and atmo are all custom.Postwork involved a slight levels adjustment and signature.Thanks for taking the time to view,and for any comments!

Congratulations on the win! I can see why it was chosen as the winner, great composition, lighting, posing, modeling and texturing. There is a real sense of the dismay in his posture that added a great deal to the emotional expression of being "Marooned on an Alien world"
