Description
"Not perfect! A trip back in time has gone a little - or a lot - wrong, so instead of a few 100 years, the time traveller has gone a few 100 MILLION years back! And ended up in a Carboniferous swamp. This is not a good place or time to be stranded, several insects and other critters grow to enormous sizes, and pose a very tangible danger. Fortunately our voyager is prepared for a little of everything, knowing that these experimental trips not always turn out as expected.
No cause for alarm.
He has confidently started the charging and reboot sequence of the time travel device, this will take a few days. So why not try and catch a fish, to supplement the survival kit food.
As long as no RED alerts show up on the displays, everything will go as a planned..."

Gotta say Lars,this is perhaps your best image to date,and I still don't know why it didn't win just on the strength of the scene composition alone,not to mention all the details you've added. The vines wrapped around the tree roots are especially well done,as is the use of light and shadow to make you scour the scene for more hidden items...truly a masterpiece my friend!
