Description
Taken at the ALBA west (Scotland) strongman festival.
Apart from doing what most self respecting Scot does in his spare time, (throwing tree logs around, hatchet throwing, lifting granit bolders that weigh nearly 300 kilos etc.) One of the competitions was to balance a glass of wine on the tip of two broad swords with outstreched arms for as long as you can. Now this may sound easy, but these two guys managed "only" 4mins 25 secs. This was taken about 12 secs into the game. At about 3 mins the sweat was flooding in buckets.

Fantastic capture! One thing I notice is the different techniques of the two participants (at least in this captured instant). The one on our left seems to be working by sight, the other by feel. I think I would have one eye open and one eye closed. haha

Nice catch. You've beautifully captured the intensity and determination of these two warriors. Deceptively simple task but really difficult in practice. I do hope someone rescued the wine.

The real trick would be to catch the glass of wine on the sword just as it's about to topple and convey it to the open mouth! Fantastic shot!!!!
