Description


These may appear like deer/hare/kangaroo hybrids but they are actually large rodents (Dolichotis Patagonum). They are from Argentina where they roam the scrubland and large parts of Patagonia. Males and females form long-term pairs and the young form crèches. They will mate in warrens that may contain several or more pairs. They are often called the Patagonian Hare. Mega Zoom Version
