Description
The same formations as my two previous posts. but from a more distant vantage point. Somehow, an eye has appeared in the middle of this photo - I assume it's a rock in a small depression or some kind of shadow effect, but I'm not really sure - I didn't notice it when I took the photo...

Such an alien looking place, and even though we know much about its formation it is still vaguely disturbing to view. Even more so when you were there, I suspect!

So beautiful! I hadn't really got to the point of putting Yellowstone on my "must go" list, but when you said you'd gone, and would be posting pictures, I was pretty sure that would change. I was right! You've got me convinced!
