Description
The interior of the church was constructed with simple clean lines in a neo-classical style exemplified by the coffered vaulted ceiling.

Mark, I'm over 2 hours (though I had to break to answer my door) and I"m still in July! I'll do this and then a current one, and come back for more later on. A lovely shot, the light on the pillars and the windows is high-key, and it makes this dark pink-tinged interior stand out. Beautiful contrasts. And I like how you show a detail in one upload and then the whole place in another, or vice versa. We get to see the context. Such a simple beautiful altar, so different from the worlds of tracery and art found in large churches. A delightful shot with lots of shadow; but your use of light makes the place feel illumined. Beautiful and quite intimate. You did churches beautifully on this trip.
