Description
I prefer just to say "Bumble Bee on a Thistle".
The title is the name of the plant btw.
Haven't tried it yet but this will probably zoom!

Did you actually know, that you can eat Thistles? - not only slugs like them well, a little birdie told me so ... even Donkeys do eat them ;)) absolutely stunning colour!

It zooms quite well. I wondered what these were. Wonderful capture of this beautiful flower. The closed flowers at lower right look like artichokes. Cris Crowder who writes the gardening column for the Lancashire Telegraph hates thistles but he likes these: http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/leisure/gardening/9074463.Flowers_of_thistle_Cirsium_rivulare_Atropurpureum_will_earn_their_place_in_your_border/

I'll go with thistle and bumble bee,It's great in zoom the bees a bit soft but heck you can't have everything.

What beautiful deep pink color this thistle has, Jeff. And I love the sharp contours of the flower and leaf against the sky, so a super POV too. btw, Thank you so much for always your nice comments, my friend. I've looked for the small heath butterfly, it indeed is much similar to the meadow brown, but because I know how 'my' butterfly looks with open wings, I'm sure that I don't have to change the name, Jeff. Thank you for your effort, I appreciate it very much.
