Steve, consider the Raynox DCR 250, cheap as chips and will attach to a nifty 50mm cheap lens, it is a good pseudo macro rig when the Euros are tight mate. Have a look on Amazon, they have them nice prices. But the image quality from these cheap little attachments is second to none IMHO.
