Great detailing on this engine, excellent shot too. Sorry about Eve, it's a frustrating situation, needs time to heal, did she have to have stitches again?.... important thing is that she doesn't get infection, is she on antibiotics?.... I hope she gets better soon and is fully healed up... how is she dealing with the cone?.

Nice! (I think I see a molecule-sized smudge on the finish. The owner will probably want to buff that out. ;-) Sorry to hear your dog is having problems. I hope she will be able to avoid breaking her wound open again and will heal quickly.

Neat capture, and Eve sounds like she is feeling unsafe due to her situation and feels more safe inside. You may want to try taking her outside on a lease or stay outside with her until she does her business etc. She is feeling nervous due to not being able to see around her as good as before plus the stitches are starting to dry and become itchy. You may want to call the vet and see if he recommends any salve you can apply to make the wound less dry but at the same time dry enough for healing etc. Just a tip, my Mom used to treat all our pets herself even removing the stitches on the pets and me, lol. Therefore, I have observed a lot from her over the years. She was a nurses aid when she was younger before us kids..:))

I don't know why, but I find these closeup shots of engines really appealing! This is a great close-up, Richard! Hope things improve with Eve - I know it's a challenge for both of you.
