Description

Shot this morning. Unlike most that I find high and dry on the sand, this one was still very alive. I returned him/her/it to the sea to fight another day! imagebam.com

Very nice photo of something we rarely see here at Rendo. Nice of you to return it to the water, and good thing it wasn't one with stingers. :-)

'Sea Jelly' is now the official name of what we used to call 'Jelly Fish'. They are one in the same thing. This species is not dangerous to humans.

I used to see these all the time on the beaches on both east and west coasts; great find and capture, and glad you set it free!
