Description
This was another one of those scenic viewpoints at Yellowstone. And that's a natural rock formation, not a man-made fence. I'm an ignoramus when it comes to geology, so I have no idea how such a thing came to exist. Please zoom...

So exciting to see this in colour! We had only rather grey monochrome when I did A level geography over fifty years ago.

An impressive view of this formation.It looks to me that the rock split and the lower part dropped away.But,that is just a guess.
