Description
After the sun set the group did what it always did. Some sat in the dining hall of the hostel comparing notes about the day’s events. Others wrote in their journals or called home to family and friends. When dinner was called we would all sit at a long communal table for a delicious meal.
We had not had much luck in seeing the Northern Lights during our trip. Most of us had come specifically to see them. After all, it was called the Northern Lights Photo Tour. It did not help that our British members were getting excited calls from home with reports of the light show in that country.
We were still a hopeful bunch so around 11:30 P.M. most of us gathered on the grassy area between the hostel and the old church and looked skyward.
It began as it usually did with a soft glow over the hilltops but soon the entire sky was green. This was something new.

I had to go back a bit in your gallery, only because in your newer shots of this series you don't include a description, ever though I am sure most would know your photos are of the northern lights beautiful scene it sure sounds like a fascinating time
