Description
Imagine twenty-five grown adults whooping and shouting like little maniacs. That was the scene. We were as children in our wonder.
Just a note on the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights) in case you are interested. The colors of the Aurora are created when energy from the Sun agitates oxygen and nitrogen molecules in the Earth’s atmosphere. Oxygen generally emits green and red light while nitrogen emits blue/red light.

It was very hard deciding which or your Northern Light images to comment on. Okay, here is where I was going to tell you what the other NL image is that I would have commented on, but for this one. I decided to just do both, and the other image that I can't leave tonight without commenting on. You do make things difficult! This is gorgeous! I love the red smoldering away behind the cloud and streaks of green. Beautiful! I do envy you this, and I am so glad you got to see it! What clinched in my deciding on this one was The Big Dipper. It's in the other image too, but here it caught my eye and excited my fancy. I love seeing it there among all the fantastical lights. Familiar, in an otherworldly setting. Excellent capture and series!
