I've heard about bluebonnets forever, of course, and will associate them forever with Texas and Ladybird. But do you know, I've never seen one. I had no idea they were lupins!! LOL! Thanks for the enlightenment! :) I suppose since we've bought a little place in Texas, I should get a bit smarter about the area! :P

Yes, they are lupines here too, and grow wild everywhere, including my back garden. Had a big rabbit out there eating on them the other morning! This is beautiful!!!
