Description

Late in WW2, a GI patrol investigates a strange wreck half buried in a sand dune. The Haunebu UFOlogy includes discussion of Russian or American capture of the technology after the war. This is one take on that. The terrain is the Easy Environment - Eternal Sands, with the (modified) skybox and plants from Easy Environment - Outback, both DAZ, plus some dead grass form RDNA. The figures are M4 with the WW2 US GI uniform (Rendo). The WW2 Jeep is from DAZ. The flying saucer is my own Haunebu II (Rendo). Composed and rendered in Poser Pro 2014.

This is a really cool series! You've done a nice job on them. The attention to detail is obvious and the scenes are well thought out, as are the compositions. I'm looking forward to seeing more. Where to from here, Antarctica?

I did a trade: the desert or snow and ice. The desert won. Alexandreev has a nice, stark snow image on DeviantArt and I doubted I could better that. I have one new scene in production that's proved harder to realize than I expected. As I'm leaving for vacation shortly, that may be the last for a bit.
