Description
If you look closely, you can see the outlines of some figures standing on that rock outcropping overlooking the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone (in the middle of this photo). When I zoomed, I saw that it was three teenage boys. We had just hiked the trail (it's called the South Rim Trail & it's about 3 miles round trip) that passes by this outcropping & there were other young people standing on it then, so I guess it's a popular spot. I usually like to climb out to places like this, but this one seemed a little too precarious & risky to me (& my wife was begging me not to), so I passed.
You can see a little bit of the Upper Falls in the lower right corner of this photo, though I will post a better photo of it later...

I've never been in the "because it's there" camp, and am content to see other people doing this sort of thing! It's a great shot, with them up so high and the waterfall as a secondary point of interest.

A fantastic photo and the figures are vivable up on that outcropping overlook. A beautiful scene!
