Well done image, but a bit too subtle in my opinion. You can barely tell what kind of thing is behind him.

Cool image, but I agree with mazzam. The background creature is pretty important so needs more definition via lighting, or perhaps a different color to offset the figure more. Looks like a cover of a 50s copy of Amazing Stories!
