Description

For fun, I once did a wide zoom on the fish, which I saw in the distance in the pond. One only can see them when the sun is shining in that part of the water where the reed is. But that is rather far for my camera, so I just liked this shot. I've made more photo's of the surroundings there, and I like the textures which came out by seeing the reflections of the reed, and other water vegetation, which can be seen in the pond. btw: What I have noticed is, that if I see here on Rendero the pictures, that they are not as sharp as looking them on my P.C. Have any of you noticed this too, or do I imagine this?

This came out very artistic Mies! Love the reflections, very unique shot! As for your question: actually I haven't noticed a difference.

A very nice shot and I have noticed the same as you and did mention it a few posts ago. What looks perfectly clear and in focus on your PC seems to lose a lot in resizing and presenting to RR.

Wonderful shot of the fish pond, Jacomina :-) Love it... I do not see much difference when i zoom, but before zoom it looks a bit more blury.

Zoom is always best, but even so, the 512k limit is ... well ... it's limiting! I like the picture, and in zoom it's quite clear!

Beautiful capture, Mies, with the fish and reflections. It makes a wonderful picture. I can't say that I have noticed a visual difference between PC and Rendo, but, in point of fact, Rendo does limit you to 512k, and that could translate to a deterioration in quality, I guess. JPG compression is by nature "destructive," as opposed to "lossless" compression such as, for instance, PNGs use. That said, I can't imagine your, for example, damselfly photos being any crisper of image than they are! They're really outstanding, Mies! I hope you and Karel are having a wonderful week! Blessings, ~Robert

I like this photo of the fish and reflections from the reeds. I always zoom and the details are much better in zoom mode! Ik vind deze foto van de vis en de reflecties van het riet. Ik heb altijd te zoomen en de details zijn veel beter in zoom-modus!
