My name is Pete, I started using Bryce back in 2001. I dabbled for a few years then I had a PC crash in 2009 and I lost everything.
Last year I downloaded it again and attacked it with a new vengence. I do not do many scenes, my renders focos on the object created. My work is Dark and Dystopian and mostly involves metals of one sort or another.
Ive been a member here since 2007, lurking, looking and learning. The images I post are things Ive learned from all of you.
My art helps me escape the Madness of Reality
Enjoy.

Should be able to recover the hard drive as soon as I order some jumpers. Not that hard to do.

We've all been there. You seem to be coping well (LOL). Nice 'tweener" in the mean time. Tiny handle bars and custom gas tank make it just different enough. Nice, for a used PC project.

I have a tower that is not connected to the Internet and which I use to make fractals 6000pc x 6000px, and a laptop connected to the internet. my two machines support software temperature monitoring "Piriform Speccy" which gives maximumde temperatures, internal and external drives, cate motherboard, processor ... watch more external drives have a large capacity, the more heat on my ... I turn 3 external USB disks 350 and 500 mega mega and 1 book 1 tera to store ... on my laptop, I have a heat extractor under the floor of PC and USB cefs 32 and maximum Gigas disc 350 or 500 Mega according to my needs. I no longer save DVD because my USB drives are mirrors me all my files .... disks whatsoever can not support more than 50 degrees Centigrade and processors and motherboards 80 ° C maximum . My antivirus that prevents my drives crash, BitDefender is ... the most effective ... it only costs € 15 for a year! I am very sad for your problems !!!

Yes I have all my finished work, just lost programs, model parts and textures I created. I should be able to recover most of it, just going to take time.

Great bike. Thank goodness you had backed up most of your things. Corrie

don't know which is worse between a motherboard or drive going down, either one is a hassle, had both in my time so feel the pain — very cool machine as always, love the chrome textures and lighting
