Description
He was a very successful cyclist in his day. It was a passion that kept him fit his whole life. I bet he would have loved today's carbon creations. He was born in 1928, so it's anyone's guess what year this was taken. I left the tape at the top on, as mum had stuck this photo above her bed at university. It says on the back.......'This photo and man are mine, so hands off'!!!!!!

I can relate here, I have been a keen cyclist most of my life, and used to track race for Crystal palace on the wooden circuit and pursuit riding too, remember that? where each rider starts on opposite sides of the track, and have to catch one another, the operable idea being that one rider is trying to get away and the other is in pursuit set against a clock. Great image of your dad here mate.
