Description

The Oregon Coast... for Tara :) After our dinner and beautiful sunset in Astoria, we continued our drive south. We made it to Tillamook, probably around 10 pm. The next morning we were back on the rode quite early, and this was one of our first scenic stops. Signs were posted on the beach, that it was a Tsunami debris watch area... I didn't find any Japanese debris... thankfully. I did see a starfish and lots of dead crabs. Thanks for stopping by, hugs, ~Melinda~

The Oregon coast is so amazingly wild and beautiful; I love that wide swath of incoming tide, it looks like it goes on forever!

Thanks! :) One of my favorite places, and has been since I was a little kid. :) Sorry to be so late ... I've been busy in the real world for a few days. I'm glad I went back to catch up rather than just skipping it! I would have missed this gem! :)

It is an amazingly beautiful beach. I hope to return some day. I have always adored the coast; The Northern Coast is so different from what I am used to here in Southern California. I love the rugged, wild beauty I saw along the Northern Coast. (If money was no object, I'd have a house here).
