Description

In the marina, Poole Quay. I think this Sunseeker is one of their smaller toys, I'm not too good at estimating the metres. It looks like a miniature maybe 50 mtr version of the Predator, prices in 2012 Here See inside the 130 version which was just under £17 million in 2012 Here You can guess what I feel about this sort of thing as a left wing hippie. I spent much of my teens sailing and rowing in this harbour in dinghies, messing about in blissful peace and quiet! You boys can do your own research if you want one of these. They can be hired for a day, week etc and the company promises not to let on you don't own it. Some of our footballers do this, I am reliably informed!

Great shot Andrea, if I had known you were nearby I would have invited you aboard, off to Cannes now..... not sure if the dinghy will make it. (chuckle).

I remember seeing this one Andrea but I don't tend to go gaga over things way beyond my reach ! Nicely captured though.

I've seen toys like this come through the locks; lots of money on the water around here! Lovely capture of someone else's idea of a good time!

Beautiful one. It looks a little like out quick ferries, but I think ours are bigger than that.

Do I see a bumper sticker on the back? I think it says "My other yacht is the QE2. I trained on thirteen foot Flying Juniors and though the inside of the 130 is very attractive I prefer sports cars to trucks.

If you ever been to Monaco? This would seriously be the dinghy towed behind the back of some of the yachts there. The mind boggles eh! I reckon the little zodiac in the foreground would be much more fun.

I share your sentiments! At my favorite places the speeds and the drinking make it unsafe to even think about venturing out in the 12 foot rowing skiff I built a long time ago. With regard to the big 'gin palaces' they should remember a boat is a hole in the water into which you throw money.

A nice photo Andrea and did you notice the huge ceiling mirror over the bed in the second link. When I get back to south Florida, remind me to photograph some of the drug runners ships. This would only qualify as a lifeboat!

Not my style! I can't even imagine how much money I would have to have stashed away in order for this to be on the menu. Yikes!
