Description
An older image I took a couple years ago at Huntington Beach, California.
I had watched (and photographed) this surfer, among a few out there on the beach that day. This was his exit off the beach going to his car to head back to the real world. While I don't surf, I do assume there is a bit of escapism and peace that shuts out the daily stress while challenging the waves and trying to harness the power of the mighty ocean.
Rather liked the cold, barren feel to this image.
It was a cool and rainy day. I remember it well as I had to continue to clean the mist from my lens filter.
