Description
Hi all. This was a hard one. I didn't know if I could portray an urban environment, at dusk, yet not completely dark. I was imagining a place where the beat poets of the 1950s (such as Allen Ginsberg) might have written their poetry. The bright light in the window, graffiti, and paper on the ground could be seen as a metaphor for art and thought in an otherwise bleak environs. In fact, the whole scene might be a metaphor for the struggle of individuality verses daily life.

and hollow-eyed
sat up in the darkness
of cold-water flats
floating across the tops of
cities contemplating jazz,"

Great job! I really like the lighting! I actually like the lighting a lot more than your previous renders of the same scene! Somehow it makes the building stand-out on its own! A kind of abandoned factory-warehouse with a touch of class!

Definitely agree with dr_bernie on the lighting. It really gives the set a character that the warm evening light didn't have. In light of your description, its definitely working on this one.
