Description

I don't get too many poetry projects, but they are always fun when I do :D Poems of Universal Love, by Anne Korhonen, presented me with a unique opportunity. I have never been asked to recreate our planet in the shape of a heart, before. I knew I didn't want it to look like a flat cut/paste, so I did my best to represent it as a 3-dimensional figure. And even though the final version doesn't show all of them, I even learned a couple new tricks, too. I'll show those in a future, tutorial post. Here's the blurb: Poems Of Universal Love continues with the same theme as its predecessor Rainbow Of Tones: Poems and Songs but this time the poet has taken the message even further talking mainly about positive sides of love and different forms of it: friendship, erotic love, romantic love and God's love. The poet also continues dealing with universal themes of equality, tolerance and humanity. On top of that she continues to pay homage to the influence of music in her poetry by creating her own interpretations of black poetry called spoken word which is closely related to Neo Soul music. 'Poems of Universal Love' is scheduled for release sometime in 2015. I'll keep y'all updated. Previous upload:
