I know its possible that at this point I may break out the macro lens and give these an additional go but I do believe that this is the last one taken with zoom lens. Forgive me if I find another.
Thank you for stopping in on my Dads remembrance. It means alot to me. I get very sad from time to time because I find it difficult to remember him other than in his last week here and it was not a fun time. I hope in time visions of all the vacations and things like that will take over and I can actually smile. Thank you again. From the bottom of my heart.

As someone who also lost his dad, I started out like that. I got by looking at old photos, that help spark the better memories, now after years I can think of dad and smile, in time you will have the better memories come back to you Fred. God bless you for this image of thanks, it shows you are a man of thought and compassion mate. And for that I am sure I speak for everyone of us when I say thank YOU from the bottom of OUR hearts. You got some great shots of these flower over the time mate, I for one would love to see some closer studies at 1:1 mate.

A very sweet dedication. I remember how I cried on the first anniversary of each of my parents' passing. Heck, I cried on the first anniversary of my dearest dog's passing. But time does heal, and I feel for you. Touching words and I'm sure all our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, Fred.

What a wonderful gift for us, Fred. It is so beautiful. Yes, the first year is the worst, I think. Then I could begin to pick more at all the happy times we had together and more and less forget the last time. I hope you will have little bonus times with him in your dreams at night. (if you remember your dreams) . My parents often pay me a visit as happy and healthy parents in my dreams. I love those dreams. Fred, we are so previleged, that we have happy memories from our parents. Lets stick to them. :-)

This is just beautiful! I like the bright face of this one, with the drops. It's lovely! When you remember his last week, give yourself permission to also remember something lovely about him from an earlier time. Not to supplant or erase those uncomfortable memories, but to retrain your brain to think of him as he was as a younger man in addition to (and not only) as he was at the end. My best wishes to you always, my friend.
