I have a very old book called, The Sabian Symbols in Astrology by Dr. Marc Edmund Jones. Whenever I'm at a loss for something to write about or for an image to paint, I turn to this book, close my eyes, select a page at random and run my finger down it. I stop, open my eyes and use the five or six words that are under my finger as a basis for my next creative effort. It never fails to provide something noteworthy and interesting.
