Description
To mark the 100th anniversary of the outbreak of WWI, the giants returned to Liverpool. Grandma, the little girl and her dog, paraded around the city to tell a very sad tale, which culminated in Granny passing away. Due to work commitments I managed to miss the whole event. The above images were taken a couple of years ago on their last visit, which included this diver. Impressive on land but when they had him walk into the Mersey.....spectacular. This year Granny was on form, she spat when she spoke, wet herself in the street and broke wind......well, don't all old people? I know I do :-) If you'd like to see the other characters do a Google image search for 'Giant grandma Liverpool'. This was a significant event for Liverpool, so I felt worth mentioning even if I missed it, hopefully they'll be back and next time.........

Oh my goodness! Frankenstein's monster in a diving suit being attacked by Lilliputian pirates! Just what will they come up with next? This is one of those times I wish Renderosity would permit posting of video with sound. I know they have this with instructive videos. I know they have an animation section. But submitted videos? A few clips of these giant figures would be SO cool to see! Sorry you missed this years. Hope for next year (do you have the ability to video tape with sound? Maybe post it to YouTube with a link from a photo on Renderosity?)!! :-)
