Splendid image. Wonderful light and color. I once saw a documentary where an engineer expressed the opinion that, based on its design and small wings, a bee should not be able to fly. The narrator replied that, fortunately, the bee does not know this.

Lovely shot , I've been parked next to a Lavender hedge and some of these keep coming into the van , they are so happy at the moment that I can get them to crawl onto my finger and put them back outside.
