Description

A common social media trend now is older photos posted on Thursdays (TBT=Throw Back Thursday). So I figured I would do so here since it is Thursday. Taken in 2012, a handsome wasp for your viewing pleasure. Going through some of the old images made me realize how long I used to go without cleaning my sensor back then. A bit of clone work to clean up some dust specks. lol. Have a great Friday everyone. -Bruce PS, Very, very minimal crop.

Fantastic! I've never seen a wasp so close up. Amazing creatures. How did you get this without it flying away? I can even see small hairs on its head and legs. Excellent work! Keep it up! :-)

You have a great gallery here, my friend, with stunning macros. This wasp is the closest I have seen. I wouldn't dare coming that close. :) Thanks for your comment on my "Drinking Kills". And, yes, the shadows were just random. I saw them when I was about to do the dishes. Cheers!
