Description

Atm I'm a bit frustrared since I haven't done any new shoots recently.. so I decided to go thru my "old" images and take a fresh look.. I find it odd that I somehow must have "missed" this shot when I went thru the photos from this shoot the first time.. Or is it simply my taste that's changed? Now when I look at these 2 photos, both from the same shoot and same outfit.. I find image number 2 far superior to image 1 (which I loved when I first did it)... Not only because I prefer the red tones over the bright pinks, but also because of the look from the model.. Why did I not see it the first time? Just thinking outloud here :P

I agree. Though they are both beautiful I instantly zeroed in on image 2 before I read what you wrote. Try flipping it 180 degrees as well for comparison

Interesting questions. I like them both. The first one is more direct, more sensual. She is looking at you, chin slightly raised, a sly smile. A look that might say "Come and join me." The second image is more demur. She looks as if she has just noticed you, no smile. Her long, slender neck is shown to greater effect. There is also less shadow on the cheek. I would be proud to show either one but then I don't have your talent.

I do that all the time. I also like the second one very much!

2 has a subtlety that isn't in #1. and it is hard to explain what I mean - this is more of a feel - which is subjective - after all, isn't art suppose to be subjective?

I really love the 2nd one. The angle is much better, and I like the deeper red on the roses and the expression is much more mysterious. You have an amazing eye for photography!

think they are both excellent and love the bone and muscle accentuation they show around the neck and collar bones, if it had to be a choice I would go for 1 as it has less of a red tinge
