Description
Just what does this mean... well lets just say this week has been very busy for me... more than usual... Its was turning out to be a real terrible week, but was slowly getting better towards the last days, I was feeling good ( for a change )... today... then at work, they were moving some large parts with a small forklift that we have here. I was sitting at my work bench minding my own business, when it came with in 8 feet from me, and then the large battery that run it exploded!!!.... and boy was it one big explosion!! sending pieces of the battery and Battery Acid all over the place!... it went off like one of those terror devices one see in the news..
The good thing is no one was hurt, I have no idea what happened.... but I'm glad I wasn't hurt by it. if it would have went off when it was beside me ( because that was where it was headed )... I most probable wouldn't have been able to post the here now... Some one must have been looking out for me!!
Later I'll show some of the photos I took of the battery and the area the pieces flew in...they went everywhere, some pretty big pieces too...

if yours is anything like the one I deal with, you are very, very freakin' lucky! Sulfuric acid splashing around the place is not my idea of a fun Friday. But the main thing is that you are alive and able to talk about it. I don't blame your counter-part for having that smile on his face - I think I'd be doing a TC and jumping on a lot of couches...

So I take it Dan's reclining here, totally relieved that he has averted the terrible accident? :) Only to fall prey (soon) to another diabolical prank now being devised by those gals? :D This is almost like a visual diary of the events in your life, isn't it? I'm surprised Dan doesn't have a beer in one hand and a shot of Jack in the other. Maybe this scene is after that. He does seem awfully relaxed.. Glad you were not injured!

Thank Heaven you are all right! Battery acid is not a pretty burn. Maybe Trish had been working on it for them. Love the render and glad you are not hurt.

Oh, Dan! Wow - I'm soooo glad you're OK, brother - that could have been horrible! Indeed, it appears you were being looked after! The T.N.A. Girls are really happy about that, too, and said to send you a big hug from them! As always, your work on this is well done and fun! It will be interesting to see the photos of the aftermath. Jeeze - and I thought my week was bad.....

Life reenacting Art it seems, glad you're ok, Did you rush out and by a ticket in the lottery I think I would have you're on lucky man. Someone was looking after you.. Great after the event image you have done here to at least there are three beautiful ladies to relax with :-) So long as they don't bake you a cake.. lol.

Wow! That's crazy! I'm certainly glad you and others are okay. Maybe it's time for a job change? Always easier said than done. Should be interesting to see the pictures. I'm surprised the operator was okay.

Did the people.from the battery company give any ideas as.to why it exploded? Lead acid batteries have been around almost for ever and are pretty stable.. Did the motor short out? That or was the battery just taken off the charger? Usually a battery explodes due to over charging and excess hydrogen build up in a cell that doesn't vent properly.... Looks like Dan is in another world... Excellent creation....
