Description
Rendered in Carrara 8.5 pro. This is my first render in this version of Carrara (I’ve not used Carrara in almost 8 years, but managed to find most of the tools.)
The scene prop is "Oriental Tranquility Awakening" at Daz3d.
The figure is "Xiao Mei" for Genesis 2 also at Daz3d.
The magic effects are a very old product, I bought back when poserpros was around, that is now on Daz3d:

I wanted to purchase Xiao Mei but I am not using Genesis 2 nor V5 or 6. I am sticking with V4 as I have too many products for her. I can use her without having the other company from imposing their software requirements your render is very good and she is very cute

Yeah Xiao Mei is just a Genesis 2 morph - so you'd have to be on the Genesis 2 train to get use out of her. I too have a LOT of V4 products - and about to start buying more because I've not yet found all the ethnicities I want out of the Genesis 2 line. Having just come back to 3D, I'm not yet "in one camp or another" over preference. Still kind of feeling out the different lines.

Nicely done ! I stopped using Carrara and switched to Daz Studio. Nice work with Carrara.
