Used an aerial panoramashot from my Phantom and manipulated it in Photoshop using Filter/Distortion/Polar coordinates.

Oh, cool, Knut! This turned out great! Haven't tried this myself, yet. I did see Colin's tut on Photoshop Cafe on how this is done - may give it a go one of these days.
