This Chypre floral gets 4 stars from Turin and Sanchez and what they say is worth quoting.
" Released in 1980, Ivoire was the first, and remains the best, of a clutch of dense, creamy, soapy florals that made it big just before the Poison-Giorgio eighteen -wheeler trend ran these prim fragrances over.
Ivoire has a classic, slightly nonedescript, downmarket French chic about it and comes in a pleasantly dowdy bottle"

Quite a plain bottle compared to some of your other offerings Andrea. What I find interesting here is the reflection of what looks like skin tones and the lens of your tizzy in the bright foil strips on the box. Nice light on this.

This is a nice image. I like the shadows. I find anything with a French name usually costs a lot more than the same thing in English. My favorite example; Beef Stew = $5 US Boeuf Bourguignon = $20 US Besides, "dense, creamy, soapy florals" sounds more like a shampoo, don't you think?

Snap! I bought the updated version a couple of months ago..different bottle. I was told that originally designed for Audrey Hepburn, withdrawn then recently reintroduced...all of this you probably knew! but it's nice!! and I like your still life
