Description

The movement of this guy was the only reason I seen him. I don't get to stop by as much as I would like. but I do enjoy popping in when I can. Hope everyone's week is going exactly as planned, or exceeding your wildest expectations. Thanks so much for the favs. views and comments on my last post.

the other morning at day break I was walking outside at my usual place(mall), and I seen a creature that held the wings open like a dragonfly (2 only) but had the torso of a grasshopper. of course my camera was not in my hand. even though grasshoppers destroy so many crops, they are beautiful and a throw back to ancient times with their armor. superb macro

Ah, fishing bait! Terrific detailed macro of this critter. (Was gonna say "small critter" but I well remember how large Oklahoma grasshoppers get!)
