Description

....and a bobcat in the clouds . I have returned from Arizona. It was fantastic down there. Lots of moody skies, and opportunities to snap some of my most favorite landscapes! I had almost given up trying to get an "end of the day" shot with the bright glaring sun making difficult for me to get a good exposure. Then the monsoons came and the skies were awesome. All I had to do was point and shoot :) When I took this photo, I was in the house, and walked past the back windows to take a peek at the peak :) and WOWZA, the mountain was glowing. I had my phone in my hand and took a quick picture through the window, and this is what I got. I did grab my camera and run outside, but I wasn't in time to capture it. I was facing east, and the sun is setting, and a storm was brewing , creating all the awesomeness. I might go ahead and continue with some Arizona photos and get back to the West Coast later. Excellent Melinda, and one might add welcome home. Investigate ND filters (Neutral density) Both solid type or grads (Graduated) A simple ND8 will give you 3 stops of light for when it is too bright.
