Fantastic POV ... Wonderfully aptured my friend !!!

I wonder if he gets fur balls and, if so, what does he do about them? Cough them up, or swallow? Nice photo of this. Kitty (my cat) does the same, BUT, I have never seen animals SO finicky about keeping their fur perfect as my rats! Almost all day was spent licking self and licking cage mates! 10% power is probably fully correct. Their tongues are like rasps. A colleague gave me some face cream at work. Kitty liked it and gave me a full facial peeling treatment - her tongue was like a small rasp. So this fellow, who is much bigger, must have a lot more power! :-)

I was wondering about the fur balls too! Great pic!

Powerful shot ;o]

Excellent shooting Kevin. Their tongues are like sandpaper, they are so meticulous aren't they?

Superb capture my friend. God bless.

The little spikes on their tongues are like glass, so when they lick it's like little sharp combs. The tigers at the zoo shed a lot at certain times of year, so I would imagine they do get hairballs, but likely just get digested and excreted along with everything else. I've never seen a tiger cough up a hairball, but my housecats do it all the time! What a superb composition you got here!
