Description
Some spiders sit in their webs waiting to capture their prey. Others sit in places like this, fully alive, just waiting, waiting, waiting for the spider wasp larvae to eat them alive.

I agree with Mike, it must be about the most gruesome way to go. Exquisite detailing and the monochromatic look gives it a timeless Hitchcock appeal.
