Excellent shot! We had so much cloud cover a UFO could have hovered over our place and no one would have seen it. Glad you had a clear night.

That is a terrific capture. Beyond my equipment and skill levels. If you don't mind sharing, what lens did you use? And what settings?

Sure. I shot this with my Canon EOS 6D with a 100-300mm lens @ 300mm. Settings on manual, ISO 400, F-16 @ 1/400th. Shoulda used a tripod even at 1/400th! :-P

I've made several comments on the Miss Renderosity pages, the last handful I've written they haven't posted.... I thought the contest was a great idea, but they just didn't know how to "work it".... I was going to take my time and pick the best entry possible durring voting yesterday, but after looking at so many crappy images when ours weren't accepted I said f it.... and instead of not voting, I chose to choose an image that should of never been accepted - F'm.... Miss Renderosity right now to me is a reflection of the mods - they don't want to accept our images but yet accept images that never should of been accepted, I say F'm.... let's all pick the ones they accepted over ours that shouldn't have been there - WHY NOT?.... I mean, Rendo accepted those pictures, so lets make that the Miss Renderosity - IT FITS THEM WELL.

Yeah, did you see the pissy post by gypsyangel? Apparently we're acting like spoiled children.... Screw it - I'm done with the whole sorry thing. I'm with you, though - I'd love to see that abomination by carwash be the face of Renderosity for the next year...
