Hi Guys...
I'm RGUS, a 3D artist from New Zealand hence the Kiwi Avatar.
I've been using Poser since 2004 and recently begun to use DAZ Studio.
Originally I used the render engines bundled with the base software and it was not until Octane was available did I change engines. I believe iRAY, now supplied with DAZ Studio, does a very good job. However, my development has stayed with Octane since I use both Poser and Studio with Octane for each as the main render engine.
Enjoy!

What item of Stinemason is this? Some years ago, I have had a discussion with SM, I complained his way of creating his items: mostly in one block. Placing cameras turns out mostly difficult. But he didnt listen to me, so I stopped buying his items. However, you did a great job with this picture.

Yes I agree... Stefan has lost the plot a bit and tried to protect his product so nothing can be done sensibly with it without using 3D-Max or something like that. Merchants like Jack Tomalin over at DAZ do a far better job and quiet honestly a far better product. Like you, I will be supporting merchants that support the majority of rendering machines... I really don't want to learn Max just to render an SM pack.

Lovely Italian renaissance scene. As an artist painting murals in London 15 years ago , these are the sort of stone textures that I got asked to re-create frequently. Probably not quite so dirty though, as people wanted to feel that the Trompe l'oeil in their house was old but not decrepit. -) Great work , as ever.
