Posted this awhile back on another site, thought I'd add it to my gallery here.
The Mechanical Man -- being a marvel of copper and brass -- had no need of the modesty afforded to more conventional men by a shirt and trousers. But the very thought of going about town without his waistcoat and evening jacket would have been -- as any Gentleman knows -- quite absurd.
